The response to part (b) demonstrates understanding of the prescribed text by selecting and commenting on a number of textual references to Verres' character. The response could be improved by including more in-depth discussion of how Cicero uses his choice of words to discredit Verres' character as well as by making more precise use of quotations from the text.
