The response demonstrates insightful understanding of varied ways of thinking by addressing the place of women in 19th century society with detailed application of knowledge. There is significant evidence that extensive independent investigation has been undertaken in relation to the character chosen and that character's relationship with the text and the context of the paradigm. The composition of the text and control of language enable complex ideas to be communicated with some degree of flair. There are, however, some structural flaws, such as the repeated device of question and answer, which reduce engagement levels.
