Punk You attempts to portray a live band performance by presenting images of the individual musicians. The images are repeated using a variety of techniques such as blue toning, multiple imaging, solarisation and painted developer. The repetition intends to portray the energy of a male punk band but does little to create a sense of aesthetic or conceptual progression. Selected darkroom techniques try to create a sense of excitement and immediacy to demonstrate the influence of music and youth culture; however, the processing techniques have been applied inconsistently.
