I looked in windows is fairly original despite being derived from Virginia Woolf and The Hours. The disconnection of the artist and the effect of the muse are not fully realised. The stilted syntax effectively creates the sense of loss and isolation of the protagonist, although expression falters occasionally. The impact of independent investigation is evident and the relationship between concept, structure, intertextual references and language choices are explained but could have been further critically evaluated in the Reflection Statement.
