The composition style is very uneven due to plodding detail, unnecessary flourishes, colourless dialogue and poor editing. Unsignposted, contrived time shifts and illogical developments in plot and character affect reader engagement. Avengement falls short of the word limit; as a result ideas are not fully developed and generic features and conventions are not employed purposefully. The conceptual focus shifts without apparent cause. The Reflection Statement reveals insufficient research; it is too confined to Advanced and Extension 1 Coursework to be deemed independent. The discussion ressembles a checklist and is underdeveloped, especially in terms of discussing form and style. There is some confusion over the conceptual focus of the text.
