The response demonstrates sound understanding of the effects of discrimination, socioeconomic status and technology on access by Aboriginal Australians to socially valued resources. It includes some course concepts which require greater sophistication in their application. Some relevant examples, supported by statistics, are provided. Further elaboration of the significance of the statistics would strengthen the evaluation. The coherent structure of the response enables the information to be clearly communicated.
