The response demonstrates a high level of understanding of the role of the media in the creation and perpetuation of the popular culture of Rock 'n' Roll. It makes some effective judgements about the way the media assisted and impeded the development of the popular culture and supports this with a range of appropriate examples. While the response does, at times, lapse into narrative description and contain some inaccurate details, it applies appropriate course concepts in a logical and generally well-organised answer.
