Four Elements combines saturated colour, high contrast and a glossy commercial graphics feel. A range of symbols suggests different levels of meaning and is initially highly seductive. The selection of scale, resolution of image and forceful composition contribute to the strength of this work. However, its impact is reduced by a formulaic presentation using conventional Photoshop filters.
