It demonstrates a sound knowledge and understanding of light detection in the eye and sound detection in the ear. Descriptions of biological phenomena affecting the brain are provided and general biological terms are used to describe the development of technologies that impact on society. Applications of biological concepts are explained appropriately with reference to the development of cinema technologies .
