The response communicates succinctly using diagrams and tables to show the effects of the mutations. It explains qualitatively relationships but is less clear in providing phenotypic ratios quantitatively. A thorough knowledge of concepts of cloning and gene cascades is demonstrated in part (e) but there is no synthesis of information and the application of the technologies is not evident.
