This is a soundly structured response which addresses the question in terms of ways in which the film transforms the meaning and moral messages of the original Chaucer tale. The response tends to be descriptive rather than analytical and is limited in terms of its exploration of context for either text. There is an attempt in the last section to compare the differing notions of morality in the two texts.
