The response demonstrates an insightful understanding of the chosen texts and the different mediums used to explore notions of 'people and power'. The question, as well as the textual form (speech), are addressed in a sustained manner, and the opening engages the audience with flair and originality. The response could be improved by supporting key points with more analysis, for example how Orwell uses language to demonstrate powerplay.
