The response demonstrates some knowledge and understanding of concepts in relation to applications of geometric series and applications of calculus to the physical world. It uses manipulation skills in the solution of problems. The response communicates using mathematical language. Greater attention to detail when applying arithmetic and algebraic techniques would have enhanced the response.
