The response demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of the application of calculus to problems involving exponential decay and concepts in relation to trigonometric functions. It uses logical reasoning and manipulation skills in the solution of problems. The provision of the position of the particle at the times it is at rest, and a more detailed description of the motion of the particle, would have enhanced the response.
