The response demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of concepts in relation to trigonometric ratios and functions and applications of differentiation. It uses logical reasoning and manipulation skills in the solution of complex problems. Correct graphing of the piecemeal trigonometric function, and correct application of algebraic procedures in the problems involving applications of differentiation, would have enhanced the response.
