The response explores the concept of change through the reflections of a grandfather following a visit to his grandson's school. Humour is created through the voice of the grandfather, his whimsical observations on the younger generation and self-deprecating humour. A refreshingly positive view of the differences between past and present generations is presented. A lack of paragraphing means that ideas tend to drift, highlighting the need for a tighter structure in accordance with the letter text type.
