The response successfully combines knowledge and understanding of calculus concepts and algebraic procedures to answer the question parts in relation to applications of calculus to the physical world. It communicates effectively using mathematical language. Correct application of information in relation to the similarity of the specified triangles and appropriate use of the cosine rule would have enhanced the response.
