The response demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the application of geometric series to financial situations and combines calculus concepts with sound algebraic skills in the solution of problems. Greater knowledge and understanding in relation to graphing a logarithmic function, applying Simpson's rule, and interpreting superannuation problems, would have enhanced the response.
