The response demonstrates some knowledge and understanding of concepts in relation to trigonometric ratios and functions and applications of differentiation. It uses some calculus concepts in attempting the solution of the problems involving applications of differentiation. Correct graphing of the piecemeal trigonometric function, and correct application of algebraic skills, would have enhanced the response.
