The response to part (e) demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of the chemistry involved in cleaning and preserving a metallic artefact from a shipwreck. The response communicates sound understanding of the chemistry involved in electrolysis, using correct terminology and including appropriate equations. More detailed information about the process of electrolysis would have improved the response.
