The response to part (e) demonstrates an extensive understanding of the chemistry of using limestone in the Solvay Process. Balanced equations, a correct sequence and a good assessment of the importance of the use of limestone are included. Environmental impacts are thoroughly assessed, although the analysis could be strengthened by the inclusion of more specific and relevant examples.
