The response is detailed and demonstrates a strong understanding of the human emotions portrayed in Harwood's poetry and the language techniques used to convey the emotions. The response is convincingly structured and well expressed with mostly appropriate textual references. More selective analysis of poetic devices and a more developed response to the second poem would improve the response. The 'feminist' reading of 'Father and Child' is not adequately explained.
