The response is well developed and demonstrates a perceptive understanding of the two chosen poems and an effective evaluation of the language forms and features used by Harwood to construct meaning. The use of three clear thesis points is a strength; however, the points, particularly the question of 'universality', need to relate more clearly to the question.
